International Conference.

10 October 2018 From October 3 to October 7, 2018, the 2nd International Scientific and Practical Conference "Botanical Gardens in the Modern World: Science, Education, Management" was held in the Botanical Garden of Peter the Great. More than 50 specialists representing scientific and educational institutions of Kazakhstan, China, and Russia took part in the conference. The conference heard 36 reports. The report: “Innovative ideas for the presentation of generic collections, using the Iridarium exposition (past, present, future)» as an example, considered innovative ideas that can improve the quality of familiarity with the collection and expand the possibilities of its presentation to visitors, regardless of their age, health or financial opportunities.
