Iris ruthenica Ker.-Gaw.

07 November 2023 Taxonomic research of species of the genus Iris continues in various regions of Russia, an analysis of populations was carried out, and the experience of studying and introducing. Together with P.M. Zhurbenko, E.D. Badaeva and V.V. Kotserub conducted a study of Iris ruthenica from Altai, chromosomes were counted. It has been established that in different populations samples have a different set of chromosomes: 2n=42 and 2n=84. The results of the analysis will be published in December in the Taxon.
