Camellian readings in St.Petersburg

08 April 2024 From April 3 to April 5, 2024, the 3d International Conference "Kamelian кeadings" was held in St.Petersburg. The conference was attended by over 100 specialists representing scientific and educational institutions of Russia, Belarus, Mongolia, Uzbekistan and Republic of Kazakhstan. The following issues were discussed at the conference in sections: Systematics of plants; Floristics (current state of floras, genesis of floras, methods of research and analysis); Botanical-geographical and floristic zoning. 62 reports were heard, 19 of which were online. This time I shared my memories of Rudolf Vladimirovich. I was lucky enough to be the 40th student of the PhD under his leadership, and Vladimir Ivanovich Dorofeev was the 20th Doctor of sciences.
