Replenishment of the collection in 2024

24 December 2024 The collection has been replenished by 105 taxa, these are plants collected in nature, grown from seeds and purchased in nurseries. Of particular value are plants from the nature of Azerbaijan (together with V.I. Dorofeev), collections of the species Iris helena. Olga Boldina brought Gynandriris sisyrinchium from Cyprus, V.I. Dorofeev brought Iris humilis and I. sp. from Buryatia. O.G. Baranova collected Iris scariosa in the Volgograd region. For the first time, seedlings of Iris xanthospuria (a new species for the collection) were planted from seeds. The collection from the Bearded Irises was expanded by 30 cultivars. Sowings of 48 seed samples were made.
