Yuri Sergeevich Smirnov: pages from life (to the 85th anniversary of his birth).

21 February 2025 On February 20, 2025, at 13:00, a scientific seminar dedicated to the memory of Yuri Sergeevich Smirnov was held in the Conference Room of the Botanical Garden Department. On this day, he would have turned 85 years old. The seminar was attended by many employees who worked with Yuri Sergeevich and who were interested in learning about him. Alexeeva N.B. prepared a short presentation with photographs from the BIN RAS Archive and her own photographs, and spoke about the life path of the head of the botanical gardens (33 years). Many colleagues spoke with their memories and photographs.
