Irises great beauty are blooming

11 July 2025 Unusual beauty Irises of the Japanese Iris, some visitors closer to the knowledge of ritual contemplation, which annually make the Japanese. It is time for the garden group of Japanese Irises to blossom. Iris ensata Thunb is the botanical name of the iris – forerunner of numerous sorts of this group of irises. Now the collection includes about 20 samples of Iris ensata collected in wild and about 40 sorts of the garden group of Japanese Irises. Only the samples of domestic selection Altai, Dersu Usala, Vasilii Alferov, Nikolay Tsiskaridze, Pervi Vals, Rosovoe Oblako, Temnaia Noch’, Trehlepestka can winter in our climate without cover. We were pleased with flowering garden varieties of Spuria Irises. Now on Iridarium ready to bloom other members of the family Iridaceae: Acidanthera bicolor Hochst., Tritonia crocata (L.) Ker Gawl. cv. Lucifer, Gladiolus, etc.
